1. Introduction

This manual is designed to give students background information on Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activities as they are applied currently in the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry (HPI). The application of these suggestions will depend upon the nature of the course, WIL activity, resources, and industry partners. Therefore, some information may change over time. Always check with your course coordinator if you are unsure about any aspect of a WIL activity.
