Her first book. The Miraculous and the Writing of Crusade Narration, was published with a top press in her field. Since then, her work has moved to consider aspects of the natural world and environmentalism. Her teaching is stellar, and she has been keen to expand our vision of Europe in the medieval period, including Eastern Mediterranean perspectives into her teaching.
