Researcher biography

Dr Dominic Hyde's research interests include: philosophical logic, formal logic and metaphysics.

Dr Hyde holds a PhD from the Australian National University and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy.

He studied mathematics and philosophy at the University of Western Australia before moving to the Research School of Social Sciences at The Australian National University to work on his doctorate with the late Richard Sylvan (formerly Richard Routley). After teaching Philosophy there for a few years, Dr Hyde moved to the Philosophy Department at the University of Queensland in 1997 where he taught introductory philosophy, logic and critical reasoning.
