World War II and German influences on the Intellectual life of America

Andrew Bonnell will consider some of the impacts of the German exile community in the United States during the Nazi regime, with particular attention to the social sciences and history, while Joel Katzav will explore the influence of the pre-WWII immigration of German speaking philosophers to America on American academic philosophy. Amelia Brown will provide a short commentary and then there will be time for discussion.
