In recent centuries, the ideas of continental philosophers such as G. W. F. Hegel and Martin Heidegger have challenged many traditional philosophical and theological notions. Focusing on the relation of being to time, I propose a fresh avenue for dialogue between continental philosophy and theology. My interlocutor of focus is the German-Polish theologian, Erich Przywara (1889–1972). This uncovers new opportunities for interchange between Religious Studies and Philosophical Studies.
