Much has been written about vulnerability. Most of the literature, it could be argued, tends to view vulnerability within a dialectic of the problematic, which is to say, vulnerability is viewed as something to be addressed in ways that allude to protection, thereby ignoring its potential as ‘projection’. Accordingly, this project is focused on conceptualising vulnerability as a form of power, in the belief this will provide it with the normative force necessary for a compelling conception of both an ethics and a politics that take vulnerability as their name.
